Senior Aboriginal Liaison Officer’s (SALO) educate and provide support to Aboriginal court users as to navigating court services and process.

SALO’s provide support and information to Aboriginal Court users in the appropriate fines management application processes and work collaboratively with other service providers and Aboriginal communities with the aim of decreasing the over-representation of Aboriginal people within the court system.

SALO’s undertake circuit court travel to remote communities, support the judiciary by providing vital cultural advice and assist community members attending court.
